Extended notes required for each class, daily!
Assigned seats – alphabetically by last name, starting in the front corner by the door.
Individual determination grade – based on conduct in class, entered weekly, rotates categories.
Tutorial changes – No scripting – Notes that are taken during Tutorials are given to the person presenting
More emphasis on your current academic classes (study groups, notetaking, flashcards, etc.) and more time provided.
More emphasis on organization (plannering, bindering) and more time provided.
11th grade – more emphasis on college/scholarship requirements, laying out a plan, and ACT preparation
10th grade – more emphasis on laying out a plan and ACT preparation
9th grade – more emphasis on making tutorials useful
Anyone with an F for the 3rd nine weeks in AVID will be exiting the program. D= probation or removal, depending on the previous grades
